Ake Ruaine Shannon

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at home, on 6th October 2022.

The third child of seven siblings from Akepare and Vaopaaki.
A devoted and loved wife to William Shannon. Mother of Leone, grandmother of Samuel and great grandmother of Hamiora, Tiake and Akerangi.

Dearly missed sister, aunty, niece and cousin.

Rest in eternal peace our matriarch.

A service to celebrate Ake's life will be held at The Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 375 Adelaide Road, Newtown on Saturday 8th October 2022 at 11am, followed by a private cremation
