HARTNELL, Dawn. (nee Malton). Of Martinborough.
On 26th October 2022 peacefully at Carter Court Carterton surrounded by her family. Aged 89 years.
Dearly loved wife of the late Don.
Loved mother and mother-in-law of Carol and Trevor Hawkins, Aaron and Christine, Shane and Sue, Clayton and Karen, Leanne and Tom Goodger, Julie, Janine and John Flack.
Loved Nana of Daniel, Carlene, Josh, Jared; Kiely, Stacy, Brad; Dena, Jonathan, Loren; Gray, Jake, Reuben, Maddy; Seb; Frances and Aidan and their partners.
Loved great ‘Nana Dawn’ of all her great grandchildren and great great grandaughter.
A loved sister, sister-in-law, auntie and friend to many.
In lieu of flowers a donation to NZ Red Cross www.redcross.org.nz would be appreciated and may be left in the church foyer.
A service for Dawn will be held in First Church, Jellicoe Street, Martinborough on Monday 31st October 2022 at 1.00pm followed by burial at the Martinborough Lawn Cemetery.

Heartfelt thanks to her loving neighbours; to her wonderful caregivers who looked after her when she was still living in Martinborough, to the staff at the Martinborough Pharmacy who always went the extra mile for Mum; to the caring team at our Medical Centre; to the Meals on Wheels volunteers; to all at Carter Court for their care; to Pam Bailey for her gentle guidance and comforting words; to Bob Bargh for being a special part of Mum’s service; to the First Church family for their prayerful and practical support; to Mel, Pip & the MADCAPS Chorus for their fitting tributes, and to all who travelled from near and far to be with us these past weeks.
We are comforted in the knowledge that Mum/Nana has touched the lives of so many wonderful people and that we are part of such a caring community.
Please accept this as a personal acknowledgement to every one of you.
