COOPER, Lorraine Constance (nee Bird). Of Carterton.
On 19th February 2023 peacefully at home in the presence of her family. In her 84th year.
Dearly loved wife and best mate of the late Colin ‘Coop’, (they were married for 54 years).
Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Christine and Craig Aston (D‘Úrville Island), Wayne and Michelle (Lake Ferry), Louise and the late Malcolm Willoughby (Masterton), Diane and Stuart Blathwayt (Carterton).
Loved Grandma of Zane and Crystal, Nadine and Lincoln; Laura and Tom, Ethan and Arnia, Sam and Jess; Ashley and Josh, Daniel and Makayla.
Loved great Grandma of Morgan and expected new brother; Zara and expected new sister; Aubree, Alaya; Blake; and Tali.
Good friend to Lyndon and Sarah Beale, and Francie Hamilton.
Lorraine’s family would like to thank the Palliative Care team, all the lovely Healthcare Girls, Hospice and the many others who have helped us make mums journey easier for her.
A service for Lorraine will be held in the Richmond Chapel, Richmond Rd, Carterton on Friday 24th February 2023 at 2.00pm followed by burial at the Clareville Lawn Cemetery.

Lorraine’s family wish to thank sincerely, all who have supported them during Lorraine’s recent illness and at the time of her passing.
