Pijfers, Sr. Maria Aleida - On 20 May 2023, aged 91 at Sevenoaks Hospital, Kapiti Coast.

Loved daughter of the late Catarina and Gerard Pijfers, loved sister & sister in law of Gus & Gerda (Hamilton) and sister of Thea Egbers (Netherlands) and the late Gerard, Herman, Leo and Bill.

Tante Ria to many Nieces and Nephews and Families including Fr. Seph Pijfers.

Dearly loved member of the Cenacle Sisters Community.

Our gratitude to all who have lovingly cared for Maria over the past 18 years: to the staff at MacKillop Care, Caughey Preston, Mercy Parklands in Auckland and recently to Sevenoaks Hospital Kapiti.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 27 May 10 00am. at Our Lady of Kapiti Church, 1 Presentation Way, Paraparaumu. Maria’s burial will be in the Cenacle plots at Taita Cemetery on 30 May at 11am.
