Passed peacefully surrounded by her family on 24 July 2023 in her 85th year.

Much loved wife of Don and cherished Mum to Tam, Jacquie and Edward, Donald and Ali. Adored Granny to Wade, Kayla, Manaia, Joe, Matt, Jonte, Peace, Luca, Zach, Noah. Much loved and respected friend of Tracey and Theresa.

Myra filled her life with raising a beautiful family, generating immense love and much laughter. She was part of the Stokes Valley community that will miss her presence and she will fondly be remembered by many lifelong loyal friends who have laughed, cried, baked, travelled, bantered, worked, camped, gardened, knitted and sewn together – always ending in a cheeky G&T.

If flowers grow in heaven Lord, then pick a bunch for me.
Then place them in my Granny’s arms and tell her they’re from me.
Tell her that I love and miss her and when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while.
