Lee, Marjorie Hilda (Marge, Midge) W.R.N.Z.N.S. 32 - Marjorie passed away peacefully on the 20th August 2023, aged 101 years.

Loved daughter of Percy and Ellen Lee and younger sister of Reginald and Win, and special Aunt, Godmother and friend of many.

Huge thanks to the wonderful staff at Irwell Rest Home who cared for Marjorie during her last few years with thoughtfulness and compassion.

Marjorie requested in lieu of flowers, she would appreciate a donation to the Wellington Cancer Society and may be done online at www.cancer.org.nz - an organization she volunteered for and was very involved with for many years.

Marjorie is a current National Patron of the Royal New Zealand Naval Woman’s Association.

A private cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service to celebrate the rich and long life of Marjorie will be held at The Cockburn Street Chapel, c/o Cockburn Street and Onepu Road, Kilbirnie, Wellington on Wednesday 20 September at 2:00 pm.
