RICHARDSON, Pravina Lata

Pravina Lata Richardson, 53, of Lyall Bay, Wellington, New Zealand, passed away on 22 October, 2023.

Pravina Richardson, daughter of Bishun Deo and Late Satya Wati, loving wife of Norman Richardson, passed away on 22nd October, 2023 at Wellington Hospital, NZ, after a long battle with cancer.

Pravina married her love Norman in 2003, never missing a morning to tell him of her love for him. She always referenced him as “hearty” and “love”.

She is survived by her husband Norman, her father Bishun, sisters Renuka, Prashila, Nischal, and brothers Satu and Vinesh.

Pravina worked at Trident Garments in Lautoka, FIJI before moving to NZ in 2004 where she worked at Ashley Fogel for few months. Pravina then later joined and worked as an Emergency Department Health Care Assistant at the Wellington Hospital, NZ to date.

In the time, she was on this earth it was spent living life to the fullest. Pravina loved socialising with her family and friends by always being there for them whenever they needed.

She cherished her friends with her amazing cooking and lovely sweets/dishes which she took to work on night shifts. Christmas was also her favourite which she always spent at Bowling Club with her husband and friends.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A service to celebrate the life of Pravina will be held at The Cockburn Street Chapel, c/o Cockburn Street and Onepu Road, Kilbirnie, Wellington on Friday 27 October 2023 at 1:00 pm thereafter private cremation.
