FINLAYSON, Betty Jean (nee Gray). Of 'Consilla’ Ruakokopatuna.

On 30th October 2023 peacefully at home in Martinborough, in the presence of family. Aged 93 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late Malcolm (They were married for 69 years).

Loved mother and mother-in-law of Malcolm and Heather, Keith and Susan, Alister (deceased), Susan and Peter Allan, Wayne and Leigh.

Much loved Gran and great Gran. A loved sister, sister-in-law, auntie and friend to many.

A celebration of Betty’s life will be held at ‘Consilla’ 475 Ruakokopatuna Road, Ruakokopatuna on Sunday 5th November 2023 at 1.00pm

Malcolm and Heather, Keith and Susan, Susan and Peter, Wayne and Leigh wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all who have supported them in various ways over recent weeks, as we have farewelled Malcolm and Betty.
The lovely personal messages of sympathy, cards, letters, flowers, food, phonecalls, tributes and visits have been appreciated and will always be remembered.
A special thanks to: the staff at Carter Court for their care of Malcolm; Dr Steve Philip and the Palliative care team for their care of Betty; to Jill Murphy for her comforting words and to all who attended either or both of Mum and Dad’s memorial services.
It is a comfort to know that Malcolm and Betty have touched the lives of so many.
