Fowler, Ronald Franklyn (Ron), aged 86 of Wellington, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, 31 October 2023.

Treasured and much-loved husband of Bridget-Anne for 58 years. Loving father of the late John (Jane) Fowler, Michael (Anne Grotefeld) and Matthew. Cherished granddad to Claudia Fowler, Cole Davin and Samantha Fowler. Loved brother of Dorelle, Clement, Marita, Fayne, Lauree and the late Warren, Vernon and Judeen and their families living and deceased.

A huge thank you to all the medical staff who have cared for Ron over the years. A special thank you to our wonderful GPs, the nurses and care assistants over the last few weeks, the Palliative care team and Mary Potter Hospice. Your respect, skill and care shown to Ron will live with us.

Ron’s Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Church of St Teresa’s, 301 Karori Road, Karori on Friday 10 November at 11:00 am, thereafter interment at the Makara Cemetery.

The Rosary will be recited in Connolly Hall, Guildford Tce, Thorndon on Thursday 9 November at 7:00 pm
