Yourelis, Vasili (Basil). Passed away peacefully, at Wellington hospital, on 22nd November 2023 aged 89.

Dearly loved husband of Maria. Loved and respected father and father-in-law of George and Fontini,Tony,John. Cherished papou, of Basil and Marisa. Loved brother of Despina, late Alexandria and late Panayiotis.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Greek Orthodox Cathedral and Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

A service for Basil will be held at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral “O Evangelismos tis Theotokou" (Annunciation of the Birth giver of God), 3 Hania Street, Mount Victoria on Tuesday 28 November 2023 at 10:00am, thereafter interment at Makara Cemetery.
