In loving memory of our beautiful angel Kirsten Papanicolaou (nee Thomassen) 20 January 1967 – 25 November 2023.

It is with the utmost sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunty, partner and friend.

Kirsten passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Messages to Kirsten’s family may be left in her tribute book on this page or posted c/- PO Box 14-366, Kilbirnie, Wellington 6241.

A service for Kirsten will be held at the Pines, 50 The Esplanade, Houghton Bay, Wellington on Thursday 30th November at 11am, thereafter a private cremation will take place.

A shuttle will be operating from the Princess Bay carpark to transport guests to and from the venue from 10am.

You are welcome to spend some final time with Kirsten ahead of the service at Harbour City Funeral Home, 56 Onepu Road, Kilbirnie on Wednesday 29th November between 1:00pm-4:30pm.
