Petrus Janse van Rensburg
23 March 1981 - 2 January 2024

Petrus passed away at home on Tuesday evening with Danielle and his parents by his side, after spending the festive season surrounded by family.

He was the best husband to Danielle, beloved son of Piet and Esmé and middle brother to Arno and Dirk.

A (brilliant) computer programmer at Softplus, Peter was a self-confessed geek, a pub quiz whizz (go Shazam!), a great handyman and a ten-pin bowling and mini-golf champ.

He had a wide range of interests including military history, fantasy novels and the cinema - for Peter, films were made to be discussed for hours afterwards. He loved the simple things in life, like getting a coffee, finding the perfect picnic spot with Danielle or making a mushroom risotto for friends and family.
