TINGEY, Roma Phyllis (Phyllis) (nee Heinrich) of Lyall Bay, on 15 February 2024, peacefully in her sleep at home surrounded by family, aged 96. 

Dearly loved wife and companion of Barry (dec) for over 66 years. 

Very much loved mother of Scott and Claire, and mother in law of Anoush and her son Karem, and family Francesca and Sara. 

Nana to Andrew, Ma to Martina, and Mrs Tingey to Bek. 

Daughter of the late August and Tilly Heinrich of Narraburra, NSW, Australia. 

Sister to Marj and the late Albert, Iris, May, Ralph and Fay. 

Sister in law to Kevin and the late Espa, Jack, Felix, Beryl and Stan. 

Loved Aunt and Great Aunt to so many. 

Thank you to Dr Dee Sills for her wonderful care of Phyllis and the Mary Potter Hospice for their wonderful care. Many thanks to Nurse Maude for their kind care and particularly Aione, Janine and Ruth.

A service for Phyllis will be held on Tuesday, 27 February 2024 at 2pm at the Cockburn Street Chapel, cnr Cockburn Street and Onepu Road, Kilbirnie, Wellington, thereafter private cremation.
