Passed away peacefully on 3 May 2024, at Hutt Hospital, aged 90 years. Dearly loved husband of Maria for 60 years. Treasured father & father-in-law of Voula & Greg, Toula & Angelo. Adored Papou of Anastasia, Adam, Katerina & Loukis.

Dad, we will miss your zest for life, love of family and warm hugs.

Loved brother to Maria, George (dec'd), Georgia, Panayiotis & Kostas. Our sincere gratitude to the staff at Hutt Hospital for their wonderful care and support of Zafirios. Friends and family are welcome to offer their condolences at the home of Zafirios on Tuesday 7 May, between 2.00pm - 7.00pm.

A service for Zafirios will be held at St Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church, 23 Bay St, Petone on Thursday 9 May 2024, at 10.00am and thereafter interment at Taita Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wellington Free Ambulance and St Nektarios Church at the service.
