FAHERTY, Anne (Nancy):

Of Seatoun, Wellington.

Reunited with her late husband Macdara after only four months apart. Passed away peacefully on Monday 6 May 2024 at Wellington Hospital, aged 88 years.

Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Michael and Helena, Ann and Jon, Theresa and Michael, Rosemary and Mark, John and Nic, Angela and Stu, David and Arimi, Kevin and Maria, and the late Peter. Adored grandmother of 18 and great-grandmother of 9.

Thanks to the staff in MAPU, ICU and Five South at Wellington Hospital, and the Thursday prayer group at St Anthony’s (especially Julie).

A Requiem Mass to celebrate Nancy’s life will be celebrated at the Church of St Anthony, 66 Falkirk Avenue, Seatoun on Friday 10 May, commencing at 10.30 am, followed by a burial at Whenua Tapu Cemetery. A Rosary will be prayed in the same Church on Thursday 9 May, commencing 6.30pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Kingfisher Trust would be appreciated and can be left in the church foyer. Messages to the family can be sent to PO Box 50-347, Porirua 5240 or placed here on Nancy's tribute page.
