MATTHEWS, Eileen Gladys (nee North) formerly of Houghton Bay and Miramar, Wellington – On Tuesday 13th August 2024, peacefully at Te Hopai Home and Hospital, aged 91 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late Charles Ernest (Ernie) Matthews.
Loving mother and mother-in-law of Gary (deceased), Cheryl & Joe Maguire and Denise McKee.
Devoted grandmother of Katie, Simon, Kellie and Brett.
Daughter of the late Joseph & Lily North and sister of the late Joe.
Loved by all her family and will be dearly missed.

A service for Eileen will be held at the Cockburn Street Chapel, cnr Cockburn St & Onepu Rd, Kilbirnie, Wellington on Friday 23rd August 2024 at 11:00am, thereafter private cremation.
