BANAS, Irena Wanda late of Island Bay, born in Poland 1936 passed away on Saturday 31 August 2024 peacefully at Wellington Regional Hospital, aged 88 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late Wladyslaw.
Loving mother and mother-in-law of Krysia and Joe, Tereska and Ron.
Loved by all her nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to the staff at Crofton Downs Retirement Village for their care and support of Irena.

A service for Irena will be held at Sisters of Compassion, 2 Rhine St Island Bay on Monday 9 September beginning with a Rosary at 10.30am, followed by a service at 11.00am, and burial at Makara Cemetery at 2.00pm
