DE BERNARDO, Kay Teresa (late of Oriental Bay) – On 6 September 2024, peacefully at Te Hopai Home and Hospital, aged 71 years.

Dearly loved wife of Kevin Ramsbottom-Isherwood.
Adored daughter of Ido and Joyce De Bernardo.
Much loved sister of Paul, John (deceased) and sister-in-law to Bernard, Sara, Gynes, Melanie, Maureen, Jay, Christopher, Maureen and Michele.
She was especially treasured by her many nieces and nephews, and by her constant support and loyal friend Graeme.

Special thanks to the staff of Te Hopai Home and Hospital for their care and support of Kay. They showed extraordinary compassion and devotion to her, particularly towards the end. Lynn, you were Kay’s constant support and companion over her last days and hours, we cannot thank you enough.

Kay’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Church of St Mary of the Angels on Thursday 12 September at 12:05pm, thereafter a private cremation. Following the Funeral Mass, guests are invited to remain at the adjoining Parish Hall for refreshments. The Rosary will be recited in church on Wednesday evening at 6:30pm.
