SWAIN (nee Bright), June Elizabeth: Passed away peacefully on 20 December 2024.

A full life well lived. Nurse, volunteer for Cancer Society, Mary Potter Hospice and Sacred Heart Cathedral. Devotee of Katherine Mansfield and international traveler.

Mum of Paul, Brendan, Clare, the late Kevin and Judith. Grandma of Ben, Sam, Gemma, Jordan, Amelia Jorja, Zak, Madeline, Emily, Daniel, Ben and Kate. Great grandma of Shea, Jules, Van, Zoe, Oscar, Penny, Sophie and Archie. Loved sister of the late Pat, Kathleen and Jill. Wife of the late Des. Special friend of the late Bernie Hehir. Friend of Sara.

A service for June will be held at the Home of Compassion Chapel, 2 Rhine St, Island Bay on Monday 23 December at 10am, followed by private cremation.
