On 31st December 2024 peacefully at her home in Gladstone, Carterton in the presence of whanau.

Loved wife of Edward.
A much loved mother, grandmother, sister, auntie and friend to many.

The whanau would like to thank the Oncology Team at Wellington Hospital and the Wairarapa Cancer Society for their support during Huia’s illness; and also to Melissa, Emma and Ashleigh from Kahukura for their wonderful care of Huia and support of us all during this time.

The family will farewell Huia from home.
