WONG, Allen Sing Kong

Born in Sun Wui, Canton, China, aged 94 years, passed away peacefully on 7 January 2025 in Lower Hutt. Dearly beloved husband of the late Colleen Wong. Loved father and father-in-law of Phyllis & Ch’ng, Glenys, Kaye & Boyce, Gaye & Andrew, Iva & Stephen. Adored Goong Goong of Alyssa and Kimberly, Hana and Euan, Emma, Madeleine. Past President of the NZ Chinese Association 1970-1991. Special thanks to the staff at Shona McFarlane during his short stay. A service will be held in Cornwall Manor, Cnr Knights Rd and Cornwall St, Lower Hutt on Thursday 16 January 2025 at 10.00am, followed by interment at Makara Cemetery. Donations can be made, in lieu of flowers, to Wellington Free Ambulance via their website.
