MCCOMBS, Peter Terence - passed peacefully at Te Hopai Home and Hospital, Wellington, on 8th January 2025.

Loving and dearly loved husband and best friend of 60 years to Beverley.
Dearest father and father-in-law to son Tony and Kate and to daughter Carolyn and Martin.
Much-loved grandfather and friend to Jess and Michael, Liz and Brady, Michael and Rochelle, and Andie and Atom, and adored by his great-grandchildren.
Treasured son to Terence and Beryl, beloved godson to Christina, and special son-in-law to Vera and Ross.
Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law to Liz and Peter, James, Patrick and Mary-Jane, David and Anne, John and Kate.
A deeply loved uncle, cousin and member of his extended family, and cherished foster father to Donna.
Much admired colleague, mentor and friend to so many, esteemed for his commitment, many talents and abilities both as a professional and as member of various community and social networks, locally, nationally and globally.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Te Hopai Home and Hospital for their exceptional care and support, helping make sure Peter was surrounded by comfort and kindness in his final days.

A service to celebrate Peter’s life will be held at Old St Paul’s, Mulgrave Street, Wellington at 2pm on Wednesday, 15th January 2025, followed by a private family interment.
