BATY, Christine Jean (Chrissy) – passed peacefully to be with her Heavenly Father on the 9th January 2025, at Wellington Regional Hospital, aged 76 years.

Dearly loved wife of Martin.
Loving mother and mother-in-law of Nicholas & Rose, James & Tessa, Anna & David.
Devoted grandmother of Benjamin, Abigail, Daniel, Moses, Isaac, Tommy, Elena and Eli.
Daughter of the late Gordon and Mary Smith.
Sister and sister-in-law of Lindsay & Eleanor, Allan & Meera, Rosemary & David, Janet & John, Roger & Marilyn, Noel & Karen, Alan & Joy.

Loved by all her wider family and friends, and her Capital Vineyard Church whanau.

A service for Christine will be held at The Street Church, 9 Hania St, Mount Victoria, Wellington on Thursday 16th January at 11am, thereafter burial at Makara Cemetery.
