PARBHU, Dhana (Mangu)

Peacefully passed away on 11th January 2025 aged 88.

Eldest son of the late Parbhu and Devi Naran of Bhulafalia and son-in-law of the late Naran and Sukhi Morar of Tavdi.
Beloved husband of 67 years to Lukhiben.
Treasured father and father-in-law of Mohan & Hansa, Manoj & Bhavana. Asha & Arun, Roopa & Nilesh.
Cherished Grandfather of Kiran & Stacey, Nileesha & Niraj, Roshni, Jayan. Alisha, Sajan, Nikheel and Sanya.
Respected brother and brother-in-law of the late Rewaben & Parbhu, the late Paliben & Magan, Gajraben & the late Raman, Puspa & Magan, Urmila, Manju & Amrat, Chandu & the late Ratan, Suman & Laxmi, Javer & Nanda, Baldev & Joyti and Bhagi & Hiralal.
Much loved Bhai, Kaka, Mama, Fua, Masa and Dada/Aja of extended family members in NZ and all around the world.
A loyal and respected friend who touched the hearts of so many.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Wellington Free Ambulance and Heart Foundation will be appreciated.

A celebration of Mangubhai’s life will be held on Friday 17th January 2025 at the Bharat Bhavan Centre, 48 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie, Wellington. Respects can be paid from 10.00am and the service will begin at 11.00am, followed by a private cremation. This service can be viewed via the livestream tab on this tribute page.

Special thanks to the District Nurses, Access Community Health and the staff of Te Hopai Home & Hospital for their care and support of Mangu over the last 5 years.

Family visiting times this week will be Tuesday and Wednesday and Saturday and Sunday 2pm to 6pm.
