DEIGHTON, Pamela Mary (Nee "Button") (late of Kapiti ) – Passed peacefully on 12th April 2025, at Elderslea Care Centre and Village, aged 82 years.

Dearly loved by the late Geoffrey Morell Deighton.
Loving mother and mother-in-law of Inger Margaret Deighton; Claire Elizabeth Deighton and Rhys Evans; and Clifford Morell Deighton and Alice Mary Lovewell Deighton.
Devoted grandmother of Opie Thornton, Ryder Thornton, Coed Evans and Georgia Mary Deighton.
Cherished daughter of the late Margaret (Peg) and Clifford Button.
Treasured sister and sister-in-law of Barbara Bradley, Shona Walsh, John and Judy Button.
Loved and respected by all her wider family, friends, and nursing colleagues.

Pamela was born in Marton and formerly of Island Bay, Wellington. She was proud to have lived a life in service as a wife, mother, nurse and friend.

Special thanks to Judy & Liz of Kapiti for their long-term care and support of Pamela. Huge thanks to all who have kept in touch, visited, sent prayers and encouragement - it meant the world to her.
