Peacefully on 16 April 2025 after a long, hard-fought battle with Alzheimer’s.

Dearly loved husband of Dianne. Loved and respected father and father-in-law of David & Amy, and Matthew. Much loved grandad of Eleanor & Isaac.

Loved brother and brother-in-law of Charles & Brenda Tredger, Nola Robertson (dec), Ron & Gay Munro, Barb (dec), and Nigel Ferguson, Bren & Alan Elgar. Loved by his nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Dementia Wellington Charitable Trust, PO Box 39393, WMC, Lower Hutt 5045 would be appreciated.

Special thanks to the staff at Bupa Whitby who cared for Robert over the past months and Wellington Hospital in the final stages. Your support has been greatly appreciated.

Robert’s funeral service will be held at the Johnsonville Uniting Church, 18 Dr Taylor Terrace, Johnsonville on Wednesday, 23 April 2025 at 10:30 am followed by a private cremation.
