On the 9 May 2025 peacefully at Mary Potter Hospice.

Dearly loved sister of Nga Whaea Atawhai O Aotearoa Sisters of Mercy New Zealand. Loved daughter of the late Edna (nee Gapes) and Maurice Kitching. Much loved sister of Marie, Brian, Fran and Sister-in-law of Chris Kelly. Fabulous Aunt and Grandaunt to multiple nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Grateful thanks to the doctors and staff of the hospice for the care given to her during her short illness. Thank you too for all her family, Sisters and friends whose love and care she deeply appreciated.

Stephanie’s Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Joseph’s Church Mt Victoria on Wednesday 14 May at 10.30am, thereafter interment at Karori Cemetery. A Vigil Service will be held at the same Church on Tuesday 13 May at 7pm.
