SCHOMAKER, Merrin Gaye, peacefully passed away 12 June 2025 with her family at her side.

Loved Wife of Jeroen, loving Mum to Sam and Aaron and Mum in law to Sarah and Maya. Loving sister of Judith and Granny M to Winter. Friend to many and will be missed dearly in a life that was lived to the full.

Thanks to all the staff at Bowen Cancer Centre and Ward 5 North, Wellington Hospital for all the special care and attention provided to Merrin. Donations in lieu of flowers to Wellington Hospital Foundation would be appreciated and can be made online to www.whf.org.nz

A service for Merrin will be held at the Cockburn St Chapel, Cnr Onepu Rd and Cockburn St, Kilbirnie on Wednesday 18 June at 11am followed by a private cremation.
