Katerina (Kitty) Barbara Bennett (nee Leach)

22.05.1945 - 12.06.2025

Kitty passed away peaceful, surrounded by whanau at the Mary Potter Hospice.

A service for Kitty will be held on Saturday, 14th of June at Cockburn Street Chapel, corner Onepu and Cockburn Sts, Kilbirnie at 10 am, followed by refreshments.

She will then travel to The Maori Women's Welfare League Headquarters, 24 Burnell Ave, Thorndon, where she will spend one night before travelling up to Whangara marae, Gisborne. We anticipate arriving at Whangara marae between 3pm and 4pm on Sunday 16th of June.

Nehu will start 11am Tuesday 17th of June, followed by burial at the family Urupa.
