SEDGWICK, Maureen Ann: on 11 July 2025 at Bob Scott Retirement Village.

Beloved mother of Sally-Ann, Julian and Ruth. Loved partner of Siep (deceased). Cherished grandmother (Big G) to Krissie, Shannon, Hannah, Hermione, Benjamin and Zachary and great-grandmother to Phoenix, Elijah, Violet, Daemon, Nathan, Bella, Kennedy and Lincoln. Loved sister of Michael (deceased) and Nigel and loved Aunty to her nieces and nephews. Respected teacher of her students and colleagues. Dear friend to many.

A celebration of this remarkable woman will be held at Harbour City Funeral Home, 655 High Street, Lower Hutt, on Thursday, 17 July 2025 at 11.00am with refreshments afterwards in the function room followed by Maureen’s interment at Akatarawa Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimers New Zealand, www.alzheimers.org.nz. would be welcomed.
