STEIN, John Merrick:
Of Paraparaumu. Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday 4 August 2025. Aged 68 years. Much loved husband of Sue. Adored father and father-in-law of John & Meaghan, Phillip & Ewelina, Hannah & Tom, and Melody & Kane, and Catrina. Treasured Grandad of Samuel, Noah, Eli, Ella, Mackenzie, Indiana, Scarlett and Piper. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Susan (dec) & Rockey, Fiona & Phil, Aevryl & Ken, and uncle of Regan. Heartfelt thanks for the exceptional care given to Merrick by Hospital and Hospice staff. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mary Potter Hospice (donations@marypotter.org.nz) would be appreciated. A service to farewell Merrick will be held at the Southward Theatre, Otaihanga Road, Paraparaumu on Friday 15 August 2025 at 11.00am, to be followed by a private family burial.
