In loving memory of Frances Brixey.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we have to tell you of the passing of our beloved friend and colleague, Frances. Many of you will have had the pleasure of Frances’ company and friendship over many years.

One of three sisters, she emigrated from England in her 20’s and quickly made New Zealand her home. She had many circles of friends in the various creative outlets that she pursued, always wanting to try new experiences.

She was bright, knowledgeable and always had a viewpoint! She will be remembered for her laugh, engaging manner and grace - even during her health challenges.

Frances had battled cancer for a few years. She was brave, stoic and fought hard to the very end.

Her light has gone out too soon, but our memories will never fade.
