Feickert, Peter John
Born 6 May 1945, passed 24 September 2025 at home in Taupo, after a short battle with cancer.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter John Feickert. Loved husband to Merilyn for 58 years. Beloved father to Roger and Julie, and Poppy to Toni-May, Elijah, Taipapaki, and Tangihaere and their families.

A keen fisherman and passionate farmer, now at rest. Peter was known for his unwavering kindness, his love for the outdoors and always being up for a chat.

Peter will be at home, 1506 Poihipi Road, Taupo from 25 September 2025. Friends and family are welcome to visit. We will gather to celebrate Peter’s remarkable life at Taupo Baptist Church on Saturday 27 September 2025 at 1:00 pm.

Peter will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
