Kilipati Fakamui Misiuepa

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Kilipati Fakamui Misiuepa, who was born in Tuapa, Niue Island, on 5 November 1934. She passed away peacefully at Lower Hutt Hospital on Monday 13 April 2026, surrounded by her loving children.

Kilipati was the cherished wife of Misiuepatama Misiuepa, and a devoted and treasured mother to Hakai, Jinna and Audrey. She was a proud grandmother to Gilbert and Karlena, and a loving great-grandmother to Joaquin, Jubilee and Jericho.

She will be remembered for her strength, kindness and deep love she had for her family. Her legacy lives on in the generations she nurtured and many lives she touched.

A family service will be held at The Wilson Funeral Home, 375 Adelaide Road, Newtown, on Monday 20 April 2026 at 6:00pm. The funeral service will follow on Tuesday 21 April 2026 at 10:30am.
