COLENSO, Edward John (Ted), Regt No. 675792, Driver C.M.T.; Fire Service Gold Star Member. Of Martinborough.

On 29th April 2026 peacefully in the presence of his loving wife Pam. Aged 92 years.

Dearly loved husband of Pam and former husband of Margaret.

Loved father and father-in-law of Jenny and Jim White, Alan and Lynne, and Hamish.

Loved Pop of Brent and Kate; Mitchell and Scott and loved great Pop of Leo and Jimmy.

Loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Martinborough Volunteer Fire Brigade would be appreciated and may be left at the service or paid direct to the Brigade’s account 02-0680-0009251-000 with the reference TED.

A celebration of Ted’s life will be held in First Church, Jellicoe Street, Martinborough on Monday 4th May 2026 at 11.00am followed by a private cremation.
