Ronny, Derek and Michel, Stuart and Maria, Adam and Gabi and their families wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all who supported them in various ways during their recent loss of Martin.
We have been comforted by the lovely cards, letters, flowers, food, phonecalls, tributes, visits, and the presence of so many at the service.
We have appreciated the care and support we have received from Dr Tirkey and the Carterton Medical Centre team; Wairarapa Hospital, District Nurses, Healthcare Caregivers; La Donna, Oracle Hearing; Wellington Free Ambulance, Carterton Volunteer Fire Brigade and Rescue Helicopter; Angela Stronge and the team at Richmond Funeral Home.
We are comforted in the knowledge that Martin has touched the lives of so many wonderful people.
Please accept this as a personal acknowledgement to each and every one of you.

On 30th May 2026, peacefully at home with Ronny. Aged 84

Dearly loved husband of Ronny of 61 Years.

Loved Dad of Derek and Michel, Stuart and Maria, Adam and Gabi.

Loved grandfather of Abbie and Jack, Kieran and Peter, Rhys and Lisa, Hayden, Lily and Belle. Great grandfather of Caleb.

A celebration of Martin’s life will be held in St David’s Union Church, Cnr Victoria and High Street south, Carterton on Wednesday 3rd June 2026 at 1.30pm followed by interment at Clareville Lawn Cemetery.
