BOWMAN, John Maurice

On 20 July 2026 in Raumati Beach, aged 81 years, John passed away surrounded by family. Much loved husband of Sue, and a wonderful dad and father-in-law to Shelley & Eddie, Emma & Dean, and Penny & the late Dave Bowman, and new mate Carl.
Treasured granddad of Kieran, Luke, Shane, Daniel, Zac, Isla, Molly and Paige. Much loved son, brother and uncle.
A wonderful friend and second grandad to many. John will live on in the heart and minds of all who knew and loved him.
A service to celebrate John's adventures through life will be held at the Funeral Home Chapel, 9 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu, on Thursday 23 July 2026 at 10am, followed by private cremation. Mary Potter Hospice have been wonderful in their care for John and his whanau, and donations to Mary Potter in lieu of flowers would be appreciated (www.marypotter.org.nz).
