Peacefully with Selwyn & Cherilyn by his side at Waikato Hospital Sunday 19th July 2026 in his 86th year.

Loved husband of the late Claudia.

Loved father of Selwyn and stepfather and father in law of Wendy and Richard, Andrew and Di, Maree and Jamie.

Proud grandfather of Jess & Michael, Marc & Tash, Hayden & Deb, and Holly.

Great grandad to Cam & Charli, Layla & Pippa, Maru, Quinny & Benji
Loved brother of Hamish & Diana.

Good friend to many at the Cambridge Oaks Retirement Village.

Special thanks to the staff at Waikato Hospital for their amazing care and support of Allen over the last few weeks.

A celebration of Allen’s life will be held on Friday 24th July 2026 at the Cambridge Oaks Retirement Village Centre at 11.00 am (please no parking in the village on street parking only)

A memorial service will be held in Featherston at a later date for his Wairarapa family & friends.
