Born on 23 June 1962, left us on 25 July 2026, aged 64. Dearly loved husband of Faye, bonus Dad to Kelli, Father in law to Glen, adored grandfather “Matty” of Sian, Kennedy and Arden. Cherished son of Jim and Gail (dec), brother to Kevin, Janette and Sharon. Uncle to Aleece, James, Jesse, Rachael and Steven. Best friend of 50 years to Glyn. As per Matthew’s wishes, a service to celebrate his life will take place at the Wainuiomata Fire Station on Tuesday 28th of July 2026 at 11.00am, followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Te Omanga Hospice in Matthew’s name would be appreciated by the family in support of the amazing support they provide.
