PALMER Irena Paschal Baylon (Paddy), nee Walsh - Reg No 2098139, WAAF, WWll. On February 1st 2005 peacefully in her 86th year, in the presence of her loving family and friends. Most cherished and adored wife of the late James Ashwell Palmer. Most dearly loved and loving mother , mother in law and friend of Mary-Elizabeth and Paul, Odette and Nicolaas, Katherine and Emanuele, Ingrid and Julian, Damian and Fiona, Gemma and Matthew, and Peter. Paddy Gran was an amazing grandmother to Ingrid, Irena, Andrew, Jessica, James, Caitlin, Sophie, Sam, Romaan and Alisa. Irena will be forever in our hearts.

A Requiem Mass celebrate Irena's life will be held at St Teresa's Church 299 Karori Road, Karori on Friday February 4th 2005 at 2:00pm followed by cremation at the Karori Crematorium. A prayer vigil will be held at Mary-Elizabeth and Paul's home on Thursday evening at 7:30pm.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind are welcome. Our special thanks to all the staff at Irwell Rest Home for their exemplary care, love and friendship towards Irena.
