Of Paraparaumu Beach. Died peacefully and with dignity at Wellington Hospital on 28 January 2008, with his family at his side.

Dearly loved and loving husband and friend of Lorraine. Friend and father of Mark, Brent and Scott. Beloved father-in-law to Louise and Emma, and grandfather to Max and Olivia.

A principled man with a great sense of humour and a huge compassion for people.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the New Zealand Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be left at the Chapel.

A service to celebrate Eldon’s life will be held at the Kapiti Coast Funeral Home Chapel, Paraparaumu on Friday 1 February 2008 at 11.00am, to be followed by private cremation.

Special thanks are due to the staff of Ward 29, Wellington Hospital and the palliative team.
