On 25 June 2008 peacefully at his home. Aged 86 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late Roberta.

Loved father and father in law of Shirley and Tony Brooker (Havelock North), Ralph and Heather (Auckland), Libby (Featherston), Irene and Patrick English (Wellington), Heather and Jacques Bovy (Wellington), Adrienne (Wellington), Andrew and Kaylene (Nelson).

Loved Grandad of Michelle and the late Matthew; Cheryl and Alex; Morgan; Vanessa; Chonte, Kelsie, Cameron, Chloe, Kendall, Cheyenne, and Great Grandad of wee Eva.

Loved brother in law and friend of Bruce and Heather Smith (Carterton).

A service for Alec will be held in the Richmond Chapel, Richmond Rd, Carterton on Tuesday 1st July 2008 at 11.00am followed by private cremation.
