MISIPEKA, Melelena (Lena) - after a courageous battle with cancer, passed away peacefully in the presence of her children & grand children at Te Omanga Hospice on the 6 July 2008.

Born 25 August 1946, Taliga Makefu, Niue. Daughter of Emele Misipeka & late father Sifaulu. Loved & cherished mother to Seligahio, Ivoga, Emele, Nogihega, Tony, Tisha, Tasha & Cory. Treasured nana to her many grandchildren & loved mother-in-law. Beloved cousin & aunty to Toli & Murray Jackson & children.

The children would like to warmly thank all staff at Te Omanga Hospice for your compassionate and comforting support during our mother's time at your wonderful Hospice.

Family service at Te Mangungu Marae, Cnr Fleet & Rata Street, Naenae on Thursday 10 July, 6.30pm. Final day service at the Marae Friday 11 July, 12 pm, followed by burial at Taita Cemetery.
