On 19th July 2008 peacefully at Palliser Home and Hospital, Greytown, with family at her side. In her 92nd year.

Loved wife of the late Samuel Charles (Charlie) Smith.

Loved mother and mother-in-law of Murray and Elly, Gayleen, Colleen and Barney Reede, Kevin (deceased) and Jenny, Trevor (Tas) and Janet, Bruce (deceased) and Karen.

Loved Nan and Nan Nan to her 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Beloved eldest daughter of the late George and Martha Jaspers. Loved sister of Noela Falkner, Tom Jaspers, and the late Zeta Henderson and George Jaspers and loved auntie of all her nieces and nephews.

A service for Emily will be held in the Richmond Chapel, Richmond Road, Carterton on Wednesday 23rd July 2008 at 2.00 p.m. followed by private cremation.
