CHAN FOUNG: Eliga Tai Jack Maletino De Porres: Passed away peacefully on 15th March 2005 at Mary Potter Hospice, Wellington. Dearly beloved and devoted husband of Melesete and loving father, and father in law of Koleti and Victa; Joseph; and Michael and Rowena. Doting grandfather to Helena, Elijah, Joshua, Leilani, Puleiata and Baby.

Melesete and children which to express their heart felt gratitude to family and friends for the overwhelming love, support and care during Eligas time with us. We also acknowledge and thank the great volunteers and staff of Mary Potter Hospice, Newtown, as well as all those from Wellington Hospital cancer unit, and the community nurses who had cared for Eliga during his illness.

Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral service which will be held at St Anne's Church, Emmett Street, Newtown, on Friday 18th March 2005 at 11:00am. Thereafter interment at Makara Cemetery. The family service will be held at the Ioane Vito Centre, Fergusson Street, Newtown, on Thursday evening at 6:00pm.
