SPENCER, MELVA MAE. Of Carterton, formerly of Featherston.

On 21st September 2008 peacefully surrounded by family, aged 72 years.

Wife of the late Bill. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Wayne (deceased), Linda and Poss Osborne, Gay and Steve Strawbridge. Loved Nana of Daniel, Lani, Isaac, and George; Andrew, Christina, Nick, Brett and all the other graduates of “Auntie Mellies” Military Academy.

Loved daughter of Lil Lewis (Roseneath, Carterton) and the late Dick. Loved sister of Ivan (deceased), Shirley, and Carol. Loved friend of many.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the I.H.C. Wairarapa Branch, P.O. Box 727, Masterton 5840 would be appreciated and may be left in the chapel foyer.

A service for Melva will be held in the Richmond Chapel, Richmond Road, Carterton on Wednesday 24th September 2008 at 2.00 p.m. followed by private cremation.
