On 5th January 2009 suddenly at Taupo. Aged 60 years.

Loved husband and soulmate of Rose.
Loved father of Amanda (Ireland), Samantha (Masterton), Joseph (Carterton) and good friend of Des, Nathan, and Emma.

Loved son of Joyce (Carterton) and the late Frank Schischka, loved brother and brother-in-law of Peter (deceased, Auckland), Yvonne and Doug Miles (Taupo), and Karen Higham (Masterton).

Loved son-in-law of Wyn (Carterton) and the late Tom Hume and loved brother-in-law of James and Rosemary Hume (Taupo), and Liz Sunderland (Carterton).
Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

A service for Wally will be held in St Mary’s Catholic Church, Carterton on Saturday 10th January 2009 at 11.00 a.m. followed by burial at the Clareville Lawn Cemetery.
