On August 10, 2009, aged 70 years, peacefully, at the Otago Community Hospice, Dunedin.

Loved father and father-in-law of Sonya and Andrew Cowen (Auckland), Pippa and Euan Hogg (Wellington), and Michael and Sarah (Twizel), loved Grandad Dessy of Melissa and Nicholas, Annabel and Myles.

Special thanks to the Hospice staff for their fantastic care of Dad and our family.

A service will be held in the Highgate Presbyterian Church, corner Drivers Road and Highgate, Maori Hill, Dunedin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday August 14 followed by private cremation.
