On October 5, 2009 suddenly at Dunedin Hospital; aged 64 years.

Dearly loved husband of Carol, and the late Liz, much loved father and father-in-law of David and Nic, Steven and Susan, Karl, Heidi, and Paul, and honourary father of Tracey, Kath, Hollie and Zoe the cat. Loved grandad of Eden, Lewis, Deacon, Aiden, and Grace.

'Our big oak tree has now fallen'.

A service for Eric will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, at 12noon on Friday October 9 the funeral then leaving for Fairfax Cemetery, Milton.

In lieu of flowers donations to the SPCA would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
