On 19th January 2010 peacefully but unexpectedly at Wairarapa Hospital, Aged 90 years.

Dearly loved husband of Lauris for 70 years.
Loved father of Ann Gilliland, Yvonne Kerr, Cherelyn Peck, Mardi Priest, Jonathan Peck, Mervyn Bennetts, and Leon Bennetts.
Loved Grandad of all his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Loved Foster son of the late Walter and Jane Garard.
Loved foster brother of Freda Howes, Athol Garard, and the late Mavis, Dulcie, Ruby, and Ron. Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Carterton RSA Welfare Fund, would be appreciated and may be left in the chapel foyer

A service for John will be held in the Richmond Chapel, Richmond Road, Carterton tomorrow (Friday) 22nd January 2010 at 2.00 p.m. followed by private cremation.
